Tail of the Dragon Tour May 10, 11 & 12

This event is a semi-spirited Drive around the Foot Hills of the Smokey Mountains.
Thorough beautiful Eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina in the middle of Spring.
This event is open to all members, couples are encouraged. Home base will be in Maryville,Tn.
At the Hampton Inn Knoxville Airport which is close to restaurants, shopping and gas stations.
I’ll have a block of rooms, hopefully at a special rate. But as always, you will be responsible for
all of your expenses plus your own hotel reservations. There will be Club waivers to sign each day at the morning Drivers meetings. Saturday will be the longest driving day. Traveling over most of the iconic roads as stated in magazines and of course youtube.

Here’s the weekend agenda:

For those wishing to drive down together from Louisville. We’ll meet at 3:00pm at the 1st rest stop off of I-64 just past the New Outlet mall. If you can’t make that time. You need to plan on being at the Drivers meeting, 8am Saturday morning in the Hotel parking lot.

Saturday day out Routes will be from 8:00 thru 5:00 with Lunch around 12:30 at the Historic
Tapoco Lodge in Robbinsville NC. Dinner that evening will be sort of on your own, with no reservations for the group. But we still can go some place together…

Sunday Plans to start around 8:30 and finish mid day around 2:00pm. For those who wish to
get back to Louisville before Dark.

This will be a fun Porsche driving experience, making new friends, with tons of beautiful scenery. And if you have never been to that area. I guarantee you’ll want to go back again and again.
