President’s Report May 2015

I am remised to say Holly and I could not attend the April Wine Tasting, but by all accounts it was once again a huge success.  Thanks again to Joe and Jane for hosting.  The weather may have kept the Porsches in the garage, but it could not deter the 30 guest in attendance from devouring Joe’s steak.

 

Although I missed the Wine Tasting, it was with good reason.  I, along with a handful of KY Region “track guys” made the trek to Mid-Ohio.  It was chilly, but the Sun finally made an appearance Sunday.  The Mid-Ohio PCA put on a fantastic event.  I absolutely love this track.  It is both technical and challenging.  Saturday I was slow as I felt out the track and the car, but by Sunday I was picking up speed.  In no way, however, do I consider myself fast.  There is definitely more learning and more driving in my future.  The next DE can’t get here soon enough.  And for those of you that are curious, the GTS is a beast!
