No, I don’t want to build a snowman…I want to build a sandcastle, on a beach, in the sun.
As I sit to write the March Report Kentuckiana has just been blasted with snow. My 10 mile drive to work this morning took an hour. And, my oversized driveway needed to be shoveled twice. Moral of the story – get a smaller driveway. In all seriousness, come on Spring!
It is just around the corner. Spring that is. And, thanks to the careful planning of our Activities Director, T.H. Morris and Drive Master, Edward Hessel some fantastic Club Events/Drives are planned. Everyone should have received an e-mail outlining the upcoming events. But, remember to check the Pacesetter and the website calendar to stay up to date.
Our first drive is planned for Saturday, March 14. We will be heading to Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese. Remember to bring your cooler to purchase from the on-site store.
DE season is fast approaching and it’s shaping up to be a great season of HPDE. I’m excited to say I will be joining the Mid Ohio and Ohio Valley Regions again at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course April 25-26 for my first DE of the season. Prior to that, weather permitting, I plan to test the GTS during a Club Day at Putnam Park mid-March.
Lastly, please note there are a few location changes for the monthly meetings. An updated list can be found in this month’s Pacesetter.
Our March meeting will be Monday, March 9 at Rosie’s Pizza. We had 46 members present at our February meeting – let’s top that!
