President’s Report – March 2009
Hi everyone, hope all of you are making it through these winter months with high hopes for Spring popping it’s head round the corner real soon. We did have a great meeting this February with 31 people attending. And I believe all had a fun time. The March meeting is planned to be at Tony’s and John’s place, Stuttgart Specialists. We’ll plan on pizza and stuff, as well as Tony planning for us to get our hands greasy. We’ll have a hands-on tech session after our brief meeting. It’s building to be a fun night.
We are still planning several 50th Anniversary celebrations and I’m needing some volunteers to help plan these events. Please let me know if you will and can help. Ken Holt, our Zone 13 Rep., has a certificate from National addressing our 50th and would like to present it to the Club. Does anyone have any ideas on what and how you would like this presentation to be handled? We’re open to suggestions.
Speaking of suggestions and voicing your ideas, we NOW have our really cool website up and running (www. kypca.org) that our own Mark Bos has spent hours and hours getting it to this level. Please spend some time looking at this site. There is a real nice Forums section that will be a neat avenue for all of us to cyber talk to each other and keep us informed on what’s going on in real time. Plan on checking this site often. There’s a lot of spontaneous get-togethers, met and greet events and drives to find the best coffee spots…
