Victory and three championship titles for Porsche at season final

Stuttgart. Porsche celebrated a triumph at the final round of the American Grand-Am Series. Joao Barbosa (Portugal) and Hurley Haywood (USA) won the race in the heat of Florida on the Homestead Miami Speedway with the Porsche Riley fielded by Brumos Racing. With their Farnbacher Loles Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, Dirk Werner (Germany) and Leh Keen (USA) clearly secured the drivers’ championship title in the GT class. Thanks to their four wins this season, Porsche also won both the manufacturer and the team classification.

Porsche tackles final with double title chance

Stuttgart. Porsche heads to the final of the American Grand-Am Series on the Homestead Miami Speedway on Saturday with the chance to secure two titles: After clinching four victories this season, Dirk Werner (Germany) and Leh Keen (USA) look set to grab the drivers’ championship in the GT class at the wheel of Farnbacher Loles Racing’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. In the manufacturers’ classification, Porsche victory is all but in the hand.

Porsche further increases points’ advantage heading to final

Stuttgart. In the American Grand-Am Series, Porsche is shortly before winning the title in the GT class. At the penultimate race of the season in Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City, points’ leader Dirk Werner (Germany) and Leh Keen (USA) saw the chequered flag in sixth with their Porsche 911 GT3 Cup of Farnbacher Loles Racing and travel to the final in Miami on 10 October holding a comfortable lead. In the prototype class, Porsche works drivers Timo Bernhard (Germany) and Romain Dumas (France) narrowly missed out on their fourth podium result this season by just two seconds.

Porsche works drivers with new confidence

Stuttgart. On the way to the final in Miami, the Grand-Am Series heads to the west of the USA: In Miller Motorsports Park close to Salt Lake City, the penultimate round of this popular championship takes place on Saturday. Lining up to compete are again the Porsche works drivers Timo Bernhard (Germany) and Romain Dumas (France), who now travel to the 2002 Olympic City in the state of Utah with new optimism, after their strong performance recently in Montreal.

Porsche works drivers score best result of season

Stuttgart. With a strong performance in the Porsche Riley, Porsche works drivers Timo Bernhard (Germany) and Romain Dumas (France) secured their best result of the season in the American Grand-Am Series. On the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, the duo claimed second place in a fiercely contested race. In the GT class the clear points’ leader Dirk Werner (Germany) and Leh Keen (USA) took another step towards securing the title with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.
