Kentucky Region Porsche Club Privacy and Usage Policy


Definition of Terms

"We", "us" and "our" refers to Kentucky Region Porsche Club, Inc. The Regional Clubs, Zones, and Special Interest Groups (Registers) are related but separate entities, and "we", "us" and "our" do not refer to them. "Site" or "Service" refers to the Kentucky Region Porsche Club of America web site, but not to the web sites or services of related Regional Clubs, Zones, or Registers. "Personal information" means information about you or your computer that we collect in connection with your application for membership, your communications with us, your participation in our activities, your use of our website, or any other nonpublic means by which we come about information about you. Personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.
Collection of your Personal Information

Kentucky Region Porsche Club collects and uses your personal information to operate the Kentucky Region Porsche Club Web site and deliver the services you have requested.

Kentucky Region Porsche Club keeps track of the pages our members visit within Kentucky Region Porsche Club, in order to determine how our services are used. This data may be used to deliver customized content, advertising, or other purposes within Kentucky Region Porsche Club.

Kentucky Region Porsche Club does not sell, rent or lease its member lists to third parties. In addition, Kentucky Region Porsche Club may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide member support, or arrange for deliveries. Our members' personal information is used within KYPCA only on a need to know basis. For example, we do not provide one Regional Club with the personal information about another Regional Club or its PCA members. We restrict access to personal information about members to those employees and volunteers who need to know that information to perform their jobs, and to our officers, committee members and staff who need to know that information to serve in their roles with us. We maintain reasonable safeguards to guard your personal information.

Kentucky Region Porsche Club secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, except as otherwise noted in this Policy. Kentucky Region Porsche Club secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

The Kentucky Region Porsche Club web site may have features which expose limited amounts of personal information. These features may include, but are not limited to, Forums, Technical Q&A, and a Member Directory. You may opt-out of appearing in the Member Directory by modifying your Member Profile. Participation in Forums or Technical Q&A is optional, and will be visible on the web site.

Kentucky Region Porsche Club does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.
