Monthly Membership Meeting Minutes

Officers Present: Steve McCombs, Secretary; Tony Proasi, VP; Richard Darnell, Treasurer

Board Members Present: Edgar Smiley, Jim Deppen

Chairs Present: Ken Daugherty, Membership Chair

Attendance:  19 members

The meeting kicked off around 7:15pm and was brought into order by the President.

Topics Discussed:

Steve McCombs talked about a letter from the National PCA.  The letter thanked the Kentucky Region for it's continued efforts and to keep progressing in the future and to go forth.

The Treasurer, Richard, says we have money.  He reminds us that the financial statement will be out in January and that there is a net loss this year of about $20,000.  Some of the loss is due to pre-payments of next year's DE track fees.

Secretary, Tony Proasi, gave us the election results:

Vice President: Jeremy Miller
Treasurer: Richard Darnell
Secretary: Chad Rainey
Board Members Elected: Mark Lichtefeld and Andy Daugherty

• Steve then mentioned that the wine tasting event will most likely be in early February and they will post the date in the newsletter and online.
• He also mentioned awarding trophies to selected members for their outstanding efforts this year.  He will award these members when the trophies are ready.
• Steve reminded us that there is one page of photos from the 50^th anniversary party in the current Sophisticated Living magazine and that those can be picked up before the end of the year at some local bookstores.  He also said that the 50^th anniversary party was in The Voice as well.
